We are excited to announce that Formiti Data International has launched a new service called the “All Inclusive PDPA Service” for Thailand International Schools. This service is designed to help schools comply with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) in Thailand. The service is available for a fixed price of 30,000 THB per month.
The PDPA is a law that regulates the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data in Thailand. It applies to both public and private organizations that collect, use, or disclose personal data. Schools are included in the scope of the law since they collect personal data from students, staff, and parents.
By offering this service, Formiti Data International is providing schools with a comprehensive solution to comply with the PDPA. The service is designed using Formiti’s unique privacy framework and client portal, includes modules such as data mapping, risk assessment, policy development, staff training, and ongoing compliance monitoring, data breach management, data subject access management to name a few.
The fixed price of 30,000 THB per month will quite rightly disrupt the privacy consulting market in Thailand. This service for international schools is ideally designed to release the overhead of hiring an internal Data Protection Officer, engage a law firm or more expensive PDPA consultancy firms to assist with compliance. The fixed price also provides schools with cost certainty and predictability.
It’s worth noting that while compliance with the PDPA is essential for international schools it should not leave Schools bearing large costs which could idealy be released into improving educational programs.
